Rainbows for Ruby was born out of one family's loss and the quiet comfort of a single suncatcher hanging in a nursery window. In the hardest days, that little scatter of light became something to hold onto.
Emily Downard began making suncatchers as a way to keep that light moving — to honor Ruby, and to place the same comfort into the hands of other families who know this particular grief.
Every piece is made by hand. Proceeds go toward gifting suncatchers, free of charge, to parents and families who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or the loss of an infant.
